For many people the approach of Christmas means stress. It might be communication stress (Christmas cards, letters and emails), financial stress, relationship stress as families are thrown together, travel stress and the pressures of producing a meal or a present to match the unknown or unexpressed expectations of others. Not to mention the constant barrage of “bad news” that fills our media. If you are feeling overwhelmed or find emotional issues are bubbling to the surface, treat yourself to some Hahnemann Healing. A “balance” will help you gain perspective and working on specific emotional points will give you an understanding of what lies underneath and allow healing to take place. Hahnemann Healing is spiritual healing that heals specific negative emotions that cause a lack of harmony in your body. This lack of harmony often underlies the very real physical problems that present in our bodies (60% of illness is linked to negative emotional issues). Deal with the emotion and the physical illness or condition can resolve.

I did it all without pain relief, not even the gas. The morning yoga was a special part of what was the best day of my life. Keith was a super star birth partner. I’m sure the yoga encouraged labour to start by relaxing, opening and connecting.”

Partners are welcome to attend prenatal classes. It will help them understand the physical discomforts and how they can be relieved and how to connect more with that new baby.

We will use 5 morning sessions of yoga to explore how animals have inspired yoga postures and sequences. The bodies of animals are usually very relaxed, and they are experts at stretching and resting. Their movements are fluid and graceful and they can display great strength, stamina and control that can transform to high energy and speed or playfulness. Imitating the movements and actions of animals can teach us to be more graceful as we move through our daily activities. This program runs for two weeks with two times offered. The second week builds on the foundation established in the first week. The first week runs from January 10-14 and the second from January 17-21. There are two sessions each week. The 6.30-8.00am session is for general to advanced level students and the 100-11.30am session is for beginner to general level. Remember you always work to your level at whichever session you attend. Bookings are required and the cost is $125 for each 5 day program.
